Collection: Andrei Hancu

Born in Pyatigorsk in 1988, the artist Andrei Hâncu lives and works in Munich. After training in graphic design and fine art in Chișinău and at the Academy of Fine Arts Munich under Peter Kogler, Hâncu developed a concise visual language spanning painting, printmaking, and digital reproduction. His works revolve around the play with space, form, and texture—often with subtle irony and conceptual depth. In 2022, he was awarded the Debutant Prize of the AdBK Munich. Exhibitions at venues including the Munich Künstlerhaus, Villa Stuck, Vienna Contemporary, and the Skulpturenpark Graz demonstrate his growing international presence. Hâncu's work combines poetic clarity with precise composition.
