Collection: Florian Nöthe
Florian Nöthe, born in Munich in 1995, lives and works as a visual artist in Munich. His works oscillate between sculpture, spatial installation, and concept art—they are reduced, precise, and at the same time open to projection. Nöthe is interested in the spaces in between: between form and meaning, material and idea, presence and absence.
He studied at the Academy of Fine Arts Munich in the class of Prof. Florian Pumhösl and graduated as a master student in 2025. Since then, his works have been featured in numerous exhibitions at home and abroad, including the Goethe-Institut Athens, the Mumok Vienna, the Pinakothek der Moderne in Munich, as well as in New York, Vienna, Toscolano Maderno, and Munich.
Nöthe's works are quiet but determined. They demand a certain slowness, a close look – and precisely in their restraint, they open up new perspectives on what surrounds us.
