Collection: Otto Solms
Otto Solms, aka Zauberohr , is a draftsman, photographer, and artist from Berlin. His works—mostly delicate hand drawings of buildings and people—combine architectural precision with subtle humor.
With a keen eye for detail, he captures the beauty of facades and forms—while also surprising us with wordplay, ambiguities, and visual punchlines. The result is works that are as thoughtful as they are accessible: realistic and witty, precise and poetic.
His architecture studies at the Vienna University of Technology shaped his love of space and structure – today it gives his illustrations depth and character.
"My art is meant to make people laugh," says Zauberohr. And that's exactly what she does—with a wink and a great sense of everyday life.

Q&A with the artists:
The exhibition ARTIFICIAL? Traces of the Present brings together works that question our perception. Reality appears not as a given, but as something that is constantly being appropriated. ARTIFICIAL? questions whether what we see and experience is not always already made, constructed, and mediated.
