Vivienne Furtwängler, born in Nuremberg in 2001, has been studying at the Academy of Fine Arts Munich in the class of Prof. Gregor Hildebrandt since 2022.

Her works combine fine lines, clear forms and atmospheric moods – sometimes calm, sometimes luminous, always permeated by a precise sense of composition.

Her works have been shown in Munich as part of max33 & friends , at Villa Stuck , Linklaters LLP , and Occhio , among others. She is part of a new generation of artists who impress with their subtle visual language and strong attitude.

Q&A with the artists:

The exhibition ARTIFICIAL? Traces of the Present brings together works that question our perception. Reality appears not as a given, but as something that is constantly being appropriated. ARTIFICIAL? questions whether what we see and experience is not always already made, constructed, and mediated.
